  6. Note: Service is Cumulative.  This Service Level contains all
  7.       service from Service Level 1 and Service Level 2.
  8.       It will install properly whether or not you have previously
  9.       installed Service Level 1.

  11. Installation

  13. You should have the following files:

  15.   aoacsd2a zipbin - APL2/2 Advanced Edition CSD Disk #1
  16.   aoacsd2b zipbin - APL2/2 Advanced Edition CSD Disk #2
  17.   aos2acsd readme - This file
  18.  
  19. To install:
  20.  
  21.  1. Download the zipbin files in binary to your OS/2 machine.
  22.  2. Use either the DISKETTE or HARD DISK/LAN option:

  24.   a. DISKETTE OPTION:
  25.  
  26.      1. Use PKUNZIP2 and LABEL to create the two install diskettes:
  27.  
  28.         ***IMPORTANT*** without the labels the install program will
  29.         will not be able to identify the diskettes correctly
  30.  
  31.         Disk 1:
  32.           pkunzip2 aoacsd2a.zip a:
  33.           label a:aoacsd2a
  34.  
  35.         Disk 2:
  36.           pkunzip2 aoacsd2b.zip a:
  37.           label a:aoacsd2b
  38.  
  39.      2. Insert disk 1 in drive a: and type a:service.
  40.  
  41.  
  42.   b. HARD DISK/LAN OPTION:
  43.  
  44.      1. Use PKUNZIP2 to unpack all the files into a single
  45.         directory on your machine or a server connected to your LAN.
  46.  
  47.         pkunzip2 aoacsd2a.zip x:
  48.           (where x: represents the drive/path where the files are
  49.           to be copied).
  50.         pkunzip2 aoacsd2b.zip x:
  51.  
  52.      2. On the target machine type x:service
  53.           (where x: represents the drive/path where the files were
  54.           copied).
